Populating The Game To Feel Alive!

Welcome back guys, Nice to hear from you again.

Just thought i'd give you all a little run through on the design approach we took when looking into the stylisation for Bye-plane.

We looked into the most powerfull art style that would allow such a small team to create a strong product and so we decided on the low poly look. (See image below)

As you can see this gave me and the other artist a much more realistic outcome as we were able to produce unwrapped and textures assets over a couple of hours.

Because the purpose of the game was to make the player feel immersed we planned to populate the world with as much content as possible. This eventually led to the idea of animals populating our world and so I spent a few days modeling until we ended up with 4 different results. (See image below)
